Our philosophy

Three defining principles

IHair health

in every form

IITransformative work

that still feels like you

IIIObsessive attention

to detail

In practiceHow we approach your hair

Color and extensions sit at the heart of the COVÉTURE experience. Every formula, placement, dimensional shift, extension row, blend, and maintenance plan is considered through the lens of long-term hair health, wearability, and the person behind the hair.

Every appointment begins at the scalp. Whatever the service, your visit starts with a scalp assessment.

At COVÉTURE, the goal is never simply more color, more hair, or more service. It is healthier hair, thoughtful transformation, and exceptional attention to every detail.

The founderMeet Cassadi Traver

Cassadi is a 7x certified extension artist whose career has spanned advanced education, mentorship, creative direction, product development, and brand building. She became the first stylist to enroll in Invisible Bead Extensions® and later helped pioneer the first extension hair line offered specifically to IBE® stylists before ultimately founding Celviá, her own extension and beauty brand.

Today, Cassadi works as a hair solutionist, pairing color and extension artistry with a deeper focus on thinning hair and scalp health. She is a certified Level 3 Harklinikken partner, is currently training in trichology, and offers personalized hair regrowth treatment at Covéture.

Celviá is now proudly invested in and backed by Whitney and Conner Leavitt of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

Since 2020, Cassadi herself, along with her work and expertise, has been recognized across television, editorial beauty, national media, and leading podcasts, including The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, PEOPLE, PAPER Magazine, E! News, Us Weekly, New York Magazine, The Tease, New Beauty, Just N Life, and Just Trish with Trisha Paytas.

Cassadi’s approach

The hair solutionist

Whatever your hair is going through, there is a way forward.

Some guests arrive with a clear picture of what they want. Others arrive with a problem: hair that won’t hold color, breakage that keeps coming back, a part that looks wider than it used to, extensions that left damage behind. Cassadi’s work is finding the real reason and solving it, not covering it up.

That is why every Covéture appointment begins with a scalp assessment, whether you are here for a gloss, a haircut, color, or a full extension install. Healthy hair starts at the root, and nothing is recommended until we understand what is happening there and along every strand.

How every visit works

The approach

  1. Listen

Your hair history, health, lifestyle, and what has changed. The details most stylists never ask about.

  2. Scalp

A close assessment of the scalp: follicles, density, buildup, and anything that may be holding growth back.

  3. Strand

The condition of your lengths: porosity, elasticity, breakage, and past color or chemical history.

  4. Solve

One plan that may combine treatment, color, IBE® for density, Harklinikken, or a referral when it calls for a doctor.

Cassadi is a certified Level 3 Harklinikken partner and is currently training in trichology, the study of the hair and scalp, so she can go deeper on every concern and know when to work alongside a dermatologist or physician.

Our partnersHarklinikkenPersonalized hair regrowth treatment

Covéture is proud to partner with Harklinikken, the Danish hair clinic founded in Copenhagen in 1992. For more than thirty years, Harklinikken has focused on one thing: helping people with thinning hair regrow and keep the hair they have, with treatment tailored to each person.

As a certified Level 3 partner, Cassadi performs Harklinikken consultations and follow-ups herself, right here in the salon.

Made for you

Every Hair Extract is blended for one person, based on their own scalp and history, and adjusted at each follow-up as the hair responds. No two formulas are the same.

Thoughtful ingredients

A plant-based extract built around burdock root, with marigold and proprietary milk-derived proteins. No harsh chemicals and no prescription medication.

Honest about candidacy

Each consultation looks at follicle activity under magnification before anything is recommended. If treatment is not right for you, you will be told so.

Decades of results

More than thirty years of research and over 100,000 clients worldwide, with clinics in Copenhagen, Los Angeles, Tampa, and beyond.

What the journey looks like
  1. Consultation

With Cassadi in the salon: questionnaire, scalp photos, and a magnified look at your follicles to confirm you are a good candidate.

  2. Your extract

A personalized formula, applied to the scalp at home, with Harklinikken’s own shampoo and conditioner.

  3. Follow-ups

Check-ins at about one and three months, then every few months, with your formula refined as you go.

Results vary from person to person and depend on consistency and the cause of hair loss. Harklinikken treatment is not suited to every type of hair loss. Cassadi is not a medical doctor, and this is not a substitute for medical diagnosis or care.

Aftercare & guides

How to care for your hair

Every guest leaves with a plan for home. Tap any guide to open it.

IBE® extension care

Your rows were placed by hand, bead by bead, to sit flat, move naturally, and disappear into your own hair. What happens between appointments matters just as much as the install.

RitualWash dayAs often as you like

Wash as often as you like. Clean hair is happy hair, and there is no need to stretch your hair to once a week. Follow this ritual every time.

  1. Detangle first

Brush out every tangle before your hair touches water, from the ends up to the top of each row. Wet tangles become mats. With multiple rows, section them half up, half down so you can reach the scalp between rows.

    Tool · 247 | The Detangling Brush
  2. Cleanse

Use a hydrating, extension-friendly shampoo. Focus it at the scalp and between rows and let the lather rinse through the lengths. Never rub the ends together or pile your hair on top of your head.

  3. Condition

Apply a hydrating conditioner from the ears down and through face-framing pieces, keeping it off the scalp and beads to prevent buildup and slipping. Comb through with a wide tooth comb before rinsing.

  4. Leave-in and protect

Gently squeeze the water out, never rub. Apply a hydrating leave-in and a heat protectant, then brush each row from the top of the weft to the bottom.

    Tool · 247 | The Detangling Brush
  5. Dry the rows first

Blow-dry the roots and rows completely before styling your lengths. If you air dry, make sure the top of every row is fully dry to prevent matting and mold.

    Tool · 214 | The Blowout Brush
  6. Finish

Once dry, smooth a serum or oil from the ears down to seal in moisture and shine, then smooth through with a boar bristle brush.

Tool · 212 | The Boar Bristle Brush
Your hair must be completely dry before you go to bed.

Short on time? Try a half wash: section off the top, braid your extensions out of the way, and cleanse only your natural hair at the scalp.

EssentialsDos & don’tsThe essentials, at a glance
TimelineWeek by weekTap a stop along the way

Move-ups are every 6 to 12 weeks depending on your density, the complexity of your placement, and how quickly your natural hair grows. For most guests it is 8 weeks.

    1 / 8
HabitsDaily livingHabits that keep rows invisible
    Brushing

Brush several times a day with the Celviá 247 Detangling Brush or a wide tooth comb. Start at the ends, hold your hair just below the rows, and brush gently all the way to the seam of each weft.

    Styling & heat

Curl and straighten as you normally would, always over a heat protectant, and keep hot tools off the beads. Extensions hold a style beautifully, so a curl set can be touched up through the week.

    Wearing it up

High ponytails, sleek buns, and the oversized messy bun of your dreams are all possible with IBE®, with no beads or tape on display. Choose soft, snag-free elastics.

    Sleeping

Sleep in two low braids on a silk pillowcase. A high bun or single ponytail places tension on your rows and can pull at your corners.

    Swimming

Wet your hair with clean water, comb a hydrating leave-in or mask through, then braid or tie it up. Brush and wash right after. Ocean salt is extremely drying, so consider removal before a beach vacation.

    Sun & sunscreen

Many sunscreens turn extensions brassy orange or peach. Choose a mineral formula and avoid anything containing Avobenzone.

    Extension troubleshooting

Every head of hair is different, and questions are part of the process. If something doesn’t feel right, you never have to figure it out alone. Here are a few common concerns and what we suggest.

ComfortMy rows feel tight or tender

This is very common in the first few days while your rows settle in. Sleeping in two low braids and giving your hair a break from tight, high styles usually helps.

If tenderness, redness, itching, or headaches last more than a few days, please reach out. We’d love to check in and make you comfortable.

BeadsA bead feels loose or is slipping

It happens, and it’s an easy fix. Try not to adjust or remove it yourself, and keep conditioner and oils away from the beads in the meantime.

Bead adjustments are complimentary within two weeks of your install and $25 each after that. Just let us know and we’ll get you in.

KnotsI’m noticing knots near my rows

Brushing to the seam a few times a day, drying your rows completely after every wash, and never sleeping on damp hair go a long way.

If a knot has already formed, please don’t cut or pull at it. Gently separate what you can with your fingers, then reach out so we can release it safely together.

HydrationMy extensions feel dry or rough

Extensions love extra hydration. A hydrating leave-in and a serum or oil from the ears down each day, a weekly hydrating mask, and heat protectant every time you style will bring the softness back. Turning your hot tools down a little helps too.

For a deeper reset, book a Mistual nano mist treatment. The Row Reset is made for your scalp, rows, and extensions, and The Traveler restores softness after sun, hard water, and travel.

    ToneMy extensions look brassy

Sunscreens with Avobenzone, chlorine, salt water, and mineral-heavy water are usually the cause, and none of it is your fault. A filtered shower head can make a real difference.

A gloss will refresh your tone beautifully, and it pairs perfectly with your next move-up.

BlendingI can see my beads or wefts

Try shifting your part slightly or wearing styles that fall over the rows. As your natural hair grows, rows naturally sit lower, so this is often just a sign you’re ready for your move-up.

SheddingI’m finding hair in my brush

Everyone naturally sheds a little every day. With extensions, those strands gather near the rows instead of falling away, so it can look like more than it is. It’s normal, and brushing to the seam each day keeps it from tangling.

ScalpMy scalp feels itchy between rows

Give the scalp a thorough cleanse between rows, rinse well, and dry your roots completely. Keeping heavier products and dry shampoo off the scalp helps too.

If the itching continues or you notice any irritation, please reach out so we can take a look.

    CelviSkin™ clip-in care

Made to be worn again and again. A few minutes of care keeps every weft soft, full, and ready.

    Clip-insWear & careEvery wear
    1. Brush before and after

Gently brush each weft from the ends up before you clip in and again when you take them out, holding the top of the weft as you go.

    2. Clip in on dry hair

Section cleanly and place each weft just below the part line. On fine or silky hair, a light texture spray at the root gives the clips something to hold.

    3. Style with care

Use a heat protectant every time and keep hot tools at a moderate temperature. Style your clip-ins on or off your head, whichever is easier.

    4. Wash every 15 to 20 wears

Or sooner if they feel heavy with product. Use a hydrating shampoo and conditioner, keep conditioner on the lengths, and avoid soaking the weft backing.

    5. Dry flat

Squeeze out the water, never rub, then lay them flat on a towel to air dry completely before brushing or storing.

    6. Store with love

Keep them brushed, dry, and flat in their box or on a hanger, away from sun and heat. Never sleep or swim in your clip-ins.

    Color care

    BlondeKeeping blonde bright
    • Use a purple shampoo once a week, not every wash, so tone stays clean without turning dull.
    • Book a gloss every six to eight weeks to refresh tone and shine between lightening services.
    • A weekly hydrating mask and heat protectant every time you style keep lightened hair soft and strong.
    • Hard water, sun, and chlorine cause brassiness. Wet your hair before swimming, and book The Traveler after a trip.
    BrunetteRich, glossy brunette
    • Rinse with cool water to keep the cuticle smooth and shine high.
    • A color-safe, hydrating shampoo keeps depth from fading warm.
    • If warmth creeps in, a blue or green toning shampoo once in a while helps, but a gloss is the real refresh.
    • Protect from the sun. UV is the quiet reason brunettes lose their richness.
    RedRed and copper that lasts
    • Red fades fastest of every shade, so go gently: cooler water and fewer hot washes.
    • A color-depositing conditioner between visits keeps vibrancy up.
    • Plan a gloss every four to six weeks to keep the tone glowing.
    • Heat and sun pull color out quickly. Protect before you style and before you head outside.
    GrayGray, silver, and blending
    • Natural gray can yellow over time. A purple shampoo now and then keeps it bright.
    • Mineral buildup dulls silver, so a gentle clarifying wash every few weeks makes a visible difference.
    • Gray hair often feels coarser, so hydration is everything.
    • Gray blending is maintained every ten to fourteen weeks for a soft, seamless grow-out.
    VividLiving in vivid color
    • Wash in cold water and as little as feels good to you.
    • Use dark towels and pillowcases for the first few weeks.
    • Vivid shades refresh every four to six weeks.
    • Keep hydrating, since the lightening underneath needs extra care.

    Cuts

    CutsCuts we love right now
    • The soft bob: chin to collarbone, polished but undone, and beautiful on fine to medium density.
    • Curtain fringe: face-framing without full commitment, and it grows out gracefully.
    • Long face-framing layers: movement for long hair while keeping length.
    • Bouncy, voluminous layers: a blowout-ready shape with lift at the crown.
    • The blunt, healthy perimeter: the strongest-looking ends you can have, and the best canvas for color.
    TrimsWhen to trim
    • Growing your length: a dusting every eight to twelve weeks removes splits before they travel.
    • Keeping a shape you love: every six to ten weeks.
    • Bangs and fringe: a quick clean-up every three to four weeks keeps them sitting right.
    • Wearing extensions: your blend is refined with your move-ups.

    Scalp

    ScalpScalp care 101
    • Your scalp is skin. Cleanse it thoroughly and as often as you need.
    • Exfoliate gently every week or two to clear buildup from dry shampoo and styling products.
    • Never go to bed with a damp scalp, and keep tight styles to a minimum.
    • Notice sudden shedding, thinning patches, or irritation? Book a consultation. Every visit at Covéture begins at the scalp.
    PostpartumPostpartum shedding
    • Shedding often begins a few months after giving birth. It is common, and for many people it settles within the first year.
    • Be gentle: soft brushes, loose styles, and less heat.
    • Keep hydration and scalp care consistent. The Fourth Trimester Mistual was created for this season.
    • If shedding continues or feels like more than it should, book a hair loss consultation.

    Why YoungstownA family story

At the creative heart of COVÉTURE is Cassadi Traver, celebrity hairstylist, educator, extension specialist, product developer, and entrepreneur. COVÉTURE itself is rooted in something larger than one career, it is a family story.

Cassadi’s relationship with hair began in middle school, doing her friends’ hair in her grandmother’s basement and kitchen. That early obsession grew into a career spanning Western New York, New York City, Utah, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Laguna Beach, with work across celebrity clientele, education, creative direction, product development, editorial beauty, and brand building.

Beside her is her husband, Paul Traver III, a Youngstown native. After navigating significant health challenges with their daughter, Cassadi and Paul chose to return to Western New York and build their life in Youngstown, the place they now want to raise their family, grow their businesses, and put down roots.

That story is quietly represented in COVÉTURE’s three swallows: Cassadi, Paul, and their daughter, a symbol of homecoming, family, and the place they chose to call home.

Outside of work, their world is filled with family, treasure hunting for antiques, too many plants, old buildings, good food, and a genuine love for the village around them.

COVÉTURE is where all of those worlds meet.
A career brought home, a family putting down roots, and a place built for what comes next.
